Session: Revolutionising Digital Marketing with Edge Computing
10:45 - 11:15, April 8th 2024, Track testing
In this presentation, we explore the potential of edge computing to transform the digital marketing landscape.

Edge computing enables data processing, analysis and response rewrites at the edge of the CDN network, using data contains within the Edge itself. This approach significantly reduce latency and improves response times. By harnessing the power of edge computing, digital marketers can deliver more personalised and engaging experiences to their customers, while also optimising their marketing campaigns in real-time. Edge Compute can give you almost unlimited power to manipulate and change user requests, allowing changes to be made outside the origin server. We’ll discuss the latest trends and use cases in edge computing for digital marketing, including how it can be used for redirects, content rewrites and data collection. We’ll also cover the key challenges and considerations for implementing edge computing in a marketing context, such as aligning Edge development with developer workflows, code management and commercial cases for adopting Edge compute within your organisation. This presentation is ideal for digital marketers, company leaders and any one interested in the latest technologies driving innovation in the marketing industry. In summary, this presentation will highlight the benefits of using edge computing in digital marketing and how it can help businesses to stay ahead of the curve in an increasingly competitive market. Attendees will gain insights into the practical applications of edge computing in marketing and leave with a better understanding of how this technology can help to drive business success.
